Overeating can be a symptom of NOT having on or more of these important dimensions in our life. Eating too much can be a response to us feeling unfulfilled emotionally in other dimensions – and addressing these can play a vital role in your weight loss strategy.
As Exercise Physiologists we address the symptoms of chronic disease and obesity through tailored exercise strategies; many of these chronic diseases are direct result of poor eating habits and being overweight. Therefore, addressing the CAUSES of eating too much can be an important first step to preventing and/ or eliminating the harmful consequences of chronic diseases and obesity on your long term health and longevity.
