No matter how good your diet is, no matter how often you are exercising...the bottom line is: you’re sabotaging all of your efforts if you’re not getting enough sleep.
Sleep experts recommend you get up to nine hours of sleep a night, but many people get between four to five hours per night on average! The following video describes how our body knows when it has had enough sleep, and outlines strategies for improving the quality of your sleep.
As a team of exercise physiologists, we take a holistic approach to improving the health and wellbeing of our clients. Addressing and improving the sleep patterns of our clients is a critical component of our work, as it forms the foundation for ensuring our clients can reach the health goals they’ve set and aspire to achieve.
