At Inspire Fitness, we are proud of our strong team of Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs), whose work touches lives and improves health and longevity for so many of our clients, especially those who are living with chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, chronic pain, cancer, and cardiovascular disease. With the expert guidance and training by our AEPs, we have watched countless Inspire Fitness members successfully adopt regular exercise and healthy habits into their lives. Through individually tailored and carefully prescribed exercise, these members have found a way to not only survive, but to thrive despite their health conditions. |
That's why for this week, we're inviting you to join us in celebrating Exercise Right Week! From May 25th-31st, Exercise Right Week is a great opportunity to recognise and promote the extraordinary work that AEPs do to improve the fitness, health, and quality of life of their clients. What is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist? We are tertiary-qualified exercise professionals who specialise in exercise rehabilitation, the treatment of medical conditions through exercise, and the health management of individuals who are seeking expert supervision and support for their fitness. As Exercise Physiologists, we have undertaken post-graduate studies in exercise science and rehabilitation, which provides stringent training and knowledge in the causes of musculoskeletal injuries, the biomechanics of rehabilitation, the mechanisms of chronic diseases in the human body, the interactions of medications and their impact during exercise. These insights inform our application of exercise programs to address injuries and medical conditions, to return your body to optimal health and function. Accreditation as Exercise Physiologists is stringently regulated by Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA), the national governing body of Exercise Physiologists in Australia. The national executive of ESSA consists of academic heads, whose objectives are to raise the standards of professional care and the knowledge of exercise professionals working within the community. Visit our exercise physiology website to learn more about how our AEPs can help you improve your health through individually tailored exercise and lifestyle modifications: www.exercise-physiology.com.au One of the best ways to learn about the amazing work of AEPs is to learn how they have changed people's lives. Check out this case study on Inspire Fitness member Des Cole, who has worked closely with our AEPs to successfully manage his cardiovascular health through regular, effective exercise.
